Registered Behavior Technician

The Registered Behavior Technician is a paraprofessional who practices under the supervision of a BCaBA/BCBA/BCBA-D in accordance with the Behavior Analysis Certification Board’s requirements. The RBT is responsible for the direct implementation of behavior-analytic services. The RBT does not design intervention or assessment plans. It is the responsibility of the RBT Supervisor to determine which tasks an RBT may perform as the function of his or her training, experience, and competence. The certificant supervising the RBT is responsible for the work performed by the RBT on the cases they are overseeing. Must have an RBT Certification in good-standing with the BACB.

We provide community-based Applied Behavior Analysis services, working in schools, family homes, group homes, etc. Applicants must be knowledgeable in Discrete Trail Training, Programmatic Interventions for Skill Acquisition Training and Targets for Reduction, communication, parent training; must have experience working with children and/or adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities. While no specific position is designated, our Behavior Analysts provide supervision for Student Analysts. Full- or part-time employee positions available to work with children ages 2-21 in Volusia and Flagler Counties. Behavior Analyst

The Behavior Analyst is undergraduate- or graduate-level individual certified in behavior analysis. Professionals who are certified at the BCaBA level may not practice independently but must be supervised by someone certified at the BCBA/BCBA-D level. Professionals who are certified at the BCBA level are independent practitioners who provide behavior-analytic services. The BCBA-D is not a separate credential and it does not grant any special privileges above or beyond the BCBA credential.

Must possess one of the following certifications and/or licenses:

  1. BCaBA
  2. BCBA
  3. BCBA-D
  4. LMHC
