Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
The Registered Behavior Technician is a paraprofessional who practices under the supervision of a BCaBA/BCBA/BCBA-D in accordance with the Behavior Analysis Certification Board’s requirements. The RBT is responsible for the direct implementation of behavior-analytic services.
Applicants must be knowledgeable in Discrete Trial Training (DTT), programmatic interventions for skill acquisition training, targets for behavior reduction, functional communication training, and parent training support. Experience working with children and/or adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities is required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Active RBT certification in good standing with the BACB
- Experience working with children ages 2–21
- Reliable transportation for community/home-based appointments
Behavior Analyst
The Behavior Analyst is an undergraduate- or graduate-level individual certified in behavior analysis providing evidence-based behavioral services. Behavior Analysts conduct functional assessments, formulate treatment plans, train caregivers, and provide clinical supervision for RBTs and Student Analysts.
Applicants must be knowledgeable in assessment and intervention development, data collection systems, and caregiver training with individuals aged 2–21.
Required Certifications & Licenses (Must possess one of the following):
- BCaBA (Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst)
- BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst)
- BCBA-D (Doctoral-level Board Certified Behavior Analyst)
- LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor)
